I think it’s a common misconception

That you must pay close attention to your reflection

In hopes to avoid mistaken direction

But I prefer to forget it…

I’ve learned and grown from previous lessons

I don’t need the past to see the present

I refuse to waste time on recollection

Plus the mirror makes me look fat…
